WE WILL NEVER FORGET! the sacrifices made by our Veterans but we need your support! Sponsor wreaths that will be laid on the graves by volunteers. Wreaths Donation As we enter the 15th Annual Wreath of Remembrance , we find the herculean task of raising funds to cover the cost of 3900 wreaths to lay on the graves of the Veterans at the Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Corp sponsors _______________________________________________________________________ Paul Blackstock Memorial Scholarship The Rotary Club of Glassboro has been a long-term supporter of Glassboro High School Graduates through annual Scholarship Awards. During 2021, the Rotary Club of Glassboro established the Paul Blackstock Memorial Scholarship, our Founding President, in perpetual honor of his significant contributions to the community. On May 30, 2023 members of the Rotary Club of Glassboro presented graduatin Glassboro High School seniors Michael Graves, Ciane Lopez, Shane Holshue, Jacob Salgado, Schalen Taylor, and Reice Griffin with the Paul Blackstock Memorial Scholarship. Each sutudent received a Certificate and was awarded a $1000. The scholarships were presented by Mrs. Bernadette Blackstock. Mr. Pete Calvo and Mr. Jim Hartmann. Candidates for the Paul Blackstock Memorial Scholarship are required to complete an application form and include a 150-word essay about the Rotary motto Service Above Self,” which conveys the humanitarian spirit of our Club’s mission and the examples demonstrated by Paul Blackstock.
